Invoice checks

Five records to check before invoice day

A simple check for timesheets, approvals, bill rates, overtime, and invoice lines.

Invoice checks do not need to start with a large report. Start with five records for every shift that is ready to bill.

1. Timesheet

Confirm the worker, date, shift, location, and worked hours.

2. Client approval

Confirm that approved hours match the timesheet. Flag the shift when approval is missing.

3. Job and location

The right hours billed to the wrong client site can still create a dispute.

4. Bill rate and overtime

Check the current bill rate and the overtime rule for that client, job, location, and shift.

5. Invoice line

The invoice line should carry the same hours, client, location, job, bill rate, and overtime amount.

Check one invoice cycle

You pay every hour. Do you bill every hour?
